ATA also acts as a data collection centre and produces reservation and booking statistics every fortnight from the start of May until the end of September. These statistics are obtained through the use of voluntary questionnaires that are sent to all our members, who then reply and return all the data anonymously. This information allows us to keep an eye on market trends at all times.
The fortnightly data that ATA gets is used by the Catalan Tourist Board to produce subsequent reservation reports. ATA studies these reports, evaluates the information and then plans specific projects aimed at improving the market situation, preventing market stagnation and strengthening current market trends as well as encouraging new ones.
