Objectives

ATA’s main objectives are to promote and encourage the development of the tourist apartment sector in the Girona area, and to further enhance the following points:

• Protect and defend the interests of our members.
• Encourage cohesion and unity within the sector.
• Work towards establishing official approval.
• Encourage the implementation of minimum standards of quality within the sector.
• Establish and foment dialogue as well as co-operation with public administration bodies regarding any subject related to our sector.
• Increase cooperation between members.
• Create and establish different types of tourist accommodation within the sector.
• Offer members representation and liaison with all the main organisations at county, provincial, national and state level (local councils, county councils, chamber of commerce, local tourist board, Catalan tourist board, Tourist Council, etc).
• Promote the businesses of our members through this web site, the printing of a catalogue and production of a CD, and the participation in national and international trade fairs. Promotion also includes liasing with official tourist bodies such as Spanish tourist offices, Catalan tourist information centres and municipal tourist boards.
• Increase the total number of members within the association.
